The Brief
Clubb Sand & Gravel Ltd have been supplying concrete and aggregates in the Kent & South East area for 90+ years. They are a market-leader, but their website didn’t reflect this status. Their products were not being fully communicated, nor was their personality, team, values or alignment to their Group Company.
Fabrick’s brief was clear – build a vibrant, easy to navigate website that (1) resolved all of these issues and (2) reflected Clubb’s true industry-leading status.
The Solution
Our first step was to fully understand Clubb’s business, their target audiences and the reasons for their objectives. We knew that the new website needed to reflect Clubb being part of a bigger entity, whilst simultaneously having its own strong identity, so design and branding was key to the project’s success.
To help better communicate and showcase their extensive geographical and product offering, the website’s layout, design, and user experience was comprehensively enhanced, ensuring that any website visitor could find the particular aggregate they were looking for within just a couple of mouse clicks. We recommended the use of professional photography to help illustrate the changes in aggregates when wet and dry as this is an important factor in the decision-making process.
Additional content suggestions to communicate their personality and values were also captured with the use of dynamic visuals, including drone photography. This provided an opportunity to add faces and information on Clubb’s proud team members and to showcase the values that make them a professional, efficient and friendly company.
As the new site included extensive structural and content changes, our SEO team worked closely with our designers and developers to ensure it was fully optimized.
