Sustainability

Sustainability is a key consideration for every business working in the built environment. The sector accounts for a significant share of UK carbon emissions (often cited at around 30–40% when operational and embodied carbon are combined) and with the UK committed to net zero by 2050, the industry must continue to decarbonise across design, construction and operation.

Strategic ESG and sustainability support

An approach to sustainability can be integrated into how a business operates, looks after its staff and embraces technology to be a more efficient business. It can also be how a company delivers schemes on-site, considers safety, waste and material selection, through to the legacy it leaves behind in terms of buildings that are fit-for-purpose and provide occupiers with buildings that are comfortable to live, work and learn in, and provide low energy in use.

Whether you’re a manufacturer, contractor, consultant or developer, sustainability will form part of your business narrative. Fabrick understands the many layers to sustainability and we work with clients to develop sustainability road maps. Integrating with clients’ Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, we’re able to help clients develop and communicate their story and values, demonstrating tangible commitment to help the sector reach its goals.
