Switching on creativity with Mount Lighting

During Clerkenwell Design Week, Mount Lighting, a commercial lighting manufacturer, set out to transform their design showroom into more than just a display space. With a brand-new studio to showcase, Mount Lighting wanted to attract architects and designers, spark meaningful conversations and generate valuable leads. To achieve this, they asked us to generate creative concepts that would capture attention and draw people in.

Cutting through the glare

Clerkenwell Design Week is one of the most anticipated events in the design calendar, and also one of the most saturated. With countless brands competing for attention, simply opening the doors of the showroom would not be enough. Mount Lighting needed to drive footfall in a way that felt authentic to their craft, while making sure visitors stayed, engaged and connected with the brand on a deeper level. The experience had to go beyond the products on display, it had to invite real participation.

An experience that switched people on

Fabrick developed and pitched a range of immersive ideas designed to transform passive visitors into active participants, with the chosen idea, “Build Your Own Light”, placing creativity directly in the hands of attendees. Delivered in collaboration with Mount Lighting and their design studio partners, acoustic felt specialists AllSfär, the activity invited guests to design and assemble their own desk lamp to take away. The workshop-style format encouraged natural conversation, extended visitor time, and deeper discussions around specification and design possibilities, making it a standout success. At Fabrick we empower clients to move beyond traditional marketing, creating meaningful, hands-on brand experiences that leave a lasting impression.
